About

Nicolette Havrish, AIA, NCARB, NCIDQ, LEED AP BD+C, is deeply passionate about environmental & social sustainability and mentorship at all levels of the architecture profession.  She grew up on a family farm in the Catskills where she developed a deep love for nature and animals that brought her to her passion for sustainability throughout her career.  Nicolette is a self-described animal lover and has experience with many different species, including exotics. Her feline co-workers Ashes & Smokey can often be found nearby “helping” throughout the workday. She currently resides on the Seneca River in Baldwinsville, NY with the two cats, chinchilla (Snow), and three ball pythons and enjoys fishing and hiking in her spare time.

Nicolette brings passion to her work as an Architect and Interior Designer by designing for occupant health and wellness (including the health and wellness of our animal friends), facilitating sustainability project certifications, selecting healthy building materials, engaging BIM/3D modeling production processes, and promoting professional development across the architectural community.  She is a Registered Architect within New York State, an NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer, and is currently pursuing her WELL AP and Fear Free Certifications.  Her NCARB Certification allows her to seek architectural registration and practice in other states outside of New York and she is also a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional with a specialization in Building Design & Construction (LEED AP BD+C).  She is certified through CalOES to respond to natural disasters as a building evaluator in the Safety Assessment Program and is interested in helping her local communities become more resilient in the face of climate change.  Nicolette’s sustainability qualifications further include a certification in Green Building Analysis from Autodesk.
